First Day of School

Today is the first day of school at AIC!! Kids were all up and dressed before 7:00 ready to go. Each of them were super-excited to meet their new friends and get started with the year. Their grades got shifted around a bit here, so Ryan is in 1st grade, Liam is in 2nd grade and Elizabeth is in 4th grade. Emily is teaching 5th grade. Erik is helping with PE, lunch and the website, among other things.

    Love seeing the first day of school. Liam looks great without his teeth!!!!!! Can't tell aboout Ryan's tooth. Bet they are the nicest, cutest, sweetest, best kids in the Dominican xoxo Gran and Grampy

    It sounds like things are going great for you! I am so glad. Things are good here, but very busy as usual. I am loving coaching volleyball, but the first game is this week so we'll see how it's going after that! School is good for the kids. Cade hasn't been kicked out yet, so that's a positive. No girls nights yet. Hopefully soon. I miss our chats!

    Hi Elizabeth, We received your thank you card today and have signed on to follow your adventures. When we saw that it was postmarked in Louisville we thought that you were back! Sounds like it has been an adjustment- but OK so far. We would like to see some pictures of the school and kids/classrooms. You are all so brave!!

    Hi Elizabeth,the class got the email and speaking of the class, there are two new kids, Abby and Cooper.They are brother and sister.I saved all your homework,ha just kidding.Mrs. Siegert is really nice.The computer room is now in the room attached to the kindergarten.So the old computer room is now a spirit shop.I would like to ride arond in a scooter. I dont get to swim in a lake or jump off a 40 foot cliff.I miss you and cant wate to see you again. Love,Alaina
